Prairie Earrings

Based on a horseshoe nail, this ring was developed while I was learning to blacksmith.  Practicing how to make nails I was asked to make a ring using a horseshoe nail.  This was not a great success, however in this endeavor glimmered the creation of this design.  Taking these same skills and techniques I applied them to sterling silver.  With great success. 

This Earrings are a long rectangle shape, is easy and comfortable to wear. The gemstone was added because we all need a little sparkle and colour in our lives.
