Open spaces, blue sky’s that go on forever, golden grass and trees that reach the sky.   The prairie jewellery range reflects the freedom, strength and uncomplicated nature of experiencing the outdoor life. Whether on foot or horseback.

This range is based on the shape of a horseshoe nail.  Designed to be as hard wearing as a horseshoe nail.  With a large rectangular head and a flat blade.  Making them easy to wear.  They are a clean and uncomplicated style with a gemstone to give them the treasured pop of colour. 

Horseshoes are a symbol of good luck, bring prosperity and wealth to your home, and makes wishes come true. 

This style was originally designed while I was blacksmithing.  A friend asked me to make a ring out of a horseshoe nail.  The ring I made was not great but it sparked the idea for the original design of the prairie ring, that has now evolved in earrings.
